TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT MARRAKECH
Your Moroccan getaway begins with a warm welcome at Marrakech Menara Airport. Our local representative will meet you and provide a direct transfer to your traditional riad. Once checked in, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. We suggest heading to the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square to experience the lively heart of the city, followed by dinner at a surrounding café before returning to your riad for a restful night.
DAY 2: MARRAKECH → HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS → AIT BEN HADDOU → OUARZAZATE → DADES VALLEY
After a morning pick-up from your riad, you will leave the city and head southeast into the High Atlas Mountains. The drive features spectacular viewpoints and passes through charming Berber villages.
Lunch takes place in Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its historic clay kasbah, which has famously served as a filming location for productions like Gladiator, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones.
Following an optional stop in Ouarzazate to see Africa's largest film studios, the route continues through the fragrant Valley of Roses. You will arrive in the Dades Valley to view the striking "monkey fingers" rock formations and take in panoramic canyon views before retiring to your hotel.
DAY 3: DADES VALLEY → TODRA GORGE → MERZOUGA DESERT
Following breakfast, the drive traces the lush palm groves and mud-brick settlements of the Dades and Todra rivers. Your first major destination is the Todra Gorge in Tinghir, a massive canyon celebrated globally for its towering sheer cliffs.
En route to the Sahara, your guide can arrange an optional, no-pressure stop at a local Berber shop to try on traditional garments and capture photos. You may also browse desert essentials, though there is no obligation to purchase anything; this stop is purely to highlight Berber culture.
Upon reaching Merzouga, you will swap your vehicle for camels and ride into the majestic dunes. Enjoy the sunset and try sandboarding before arriving at your luxury desert camp. A delicious dinner is served under a starlit sky, completing a magical night in the Sahara.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT → AGDEZ → HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS → MARRAKECH
After breakfast at the camp, the return journey to Marrakech begins via a different route, this time following the scenic Draa Valley — the longest valley in Morocco. A stop in Agdez provides sweeping views over an endless sea of lush palm trees.
You will break for lunch in Ouarzazate before navigating the majestic High Atlas Mountains once again. The drive concludes with a safe drop-off at your riad in Marrakech.
DAY 5: EXPLORE MARRAKECH
Your final day starts with breakfast at your riad, followed by a guided city tour. A friendly local expert will lead you through Marrakech’s most iconic historical sites, including the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrassa, Koutoubia Mosque, and the bustling Jemaa El-Fna Square.
After a satisfying lunch, you will explore the city's modern districts, highlighted by a peaceful walk through the vibrant Majorelle Garden. If your departure flight is scheduled for today, a seamless transfer to the airport will be provided to mark the conclusion of your 5-day journey.
