TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT TANGIER → CHEFCHAOUEN

Your tour begins on Day 1 with a warm welcome by your driver/guide at the Tangier airport, port, or your designated hotel in town. From there, you will embark on a scenic drive south into the rugged Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen.

Upon arrival, you will check into a charming, authentic riad or hotel nestled among the town's famous blue-washed buildings. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your leisure. Wander the vibrant alleyways, relax at a rooftop cafe, and sample authentic northern Moroccan cuisine in the heart of this serene blue town before turning in for a restful night.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN → VOLUBILIS → MEKNES → FES

After a delicious breakfast at your riad, you will take a scenic drive through the rolling hills and rural villages of the Rif region. Your first destination is Volubilis, home to Morocco's most well-preserved ancient Roman ruins. You can stroll through the site to admire detailed mosaics, public buildings, and triumphal arches dating back to the 3rd century.

Next, the drive continues to Meknes, which served as Morocco's grand imperial capital during the 17th century under Sultan Moulay Ismail. After a lunch break, you will explore its historic medina, view the monumental Bab el Mansour gate, and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

The day concludes with a drive to Fes, where you will check into a traditional riad for an evening of relaxation and a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 3: GUIDED TOUR OF FES

Today is dedicated to an immersive, full-day guided exploration of Fes, widely celebrated as the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Your tour starts with a drive to the grand brass doors of the Royal Palace, followed by a walking tour through the maze-like alleys of the ancient medieval Medina—a protected UNESCO World Heritage site.

Accompanied by an official local guide, you will visit iconic landmarks including the historic Al-Qarawiyyin University, the beautifully carved Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous Chouara Tanneries to see how leather is traditionally dyed. You will also stroll through the historic Jewish quarter, known as the Mellah, before heading up to an ancient hilltop fortress to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the entire Fes cityscape. Return to your riad for the evening.

DAY 4: FES → IFRANE → MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS → ZIZ VALLEY → MERZOUGA DESERT

Following breakfast at your riad, the journey heads south toward the Sahara Desert. The drive pauses first in Ifrane, an alpine town known for its clean, European-style architecture, before winding through the dense cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you will have the chance to spot wild Barbary apes.

After a lunch stop at a local restaurant, the route descends into the dramatic landscapes of the Ziz Valley, offering breathtaking views of a massive palm oasis tucked between high canyon walls. By the late afternoon, you will reach the desert outpost of Merzouga.

Here, you will meet your camel caravan and trek into the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, pausing on a high crest to watch a magnificent Sahara sunset. You will then arrive at a premium luxury desert camp to settle into your private en-suite tent. Enjoy a traditional dinner followed by live Berber drum music around a crackling bonfire under a brilliant night sky.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT → RISSANI → TODRA GORGE → DADES VALLEY

Wake up early to witness a serene and unforgettable sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you can return to Merzouga town via camel back or inside a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. Your driver will then navigate the route westbound toward the Dades Valley.

The morning features a stop in Rissani to explore its lively, authentic market (best experienced on standard market days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday). From there, the drive leads to Tinghir, where you will take a leisurely stroll beneath the sheer, 300-metre-high rock walls of the spectacular Todra Gorge.

In the afternoon, you will enter the Dades Valley to view the unusual "monkey fingers" rock formations and drive along the winding roads overlooking the dramatic Dades Gorges. The day concludes at your valley hotel for a peaceful dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY → OUARZAZATE → AIT BEN HADDOU → HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS → MARRAKECH

After breakfast, the journey moves to Ouarzazate, affectionately called the "Hollywood of Africa." Here, you will have the option to tour the historic sets of Atlas Studios, the largest film production facility in Morocco.

Next, you will explore the nearby Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient earthen clay fortress protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This stunning architectural landmark has starred in countless major films and television series, including Gladiator, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones.

Following a lunch break, you will cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the panoramic Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping to photograph the dramatic mountain peaks. By late afternoon, you will descend into the vibrant city of Marrakech and check into a beautiful riad inside the Medina. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner inside your riad or immerse yourself in the lively street food culture of the bustling Jemaa El Fna Square.

DAY 7: GUIDED TOUR OF MARRAKECH

Your final day begins with a rich breakfast at your riad, followed by a half-day guided tour of Marrakech's historical highlights. A knowledgeable local guide will lead you through the city's top landmarks, sharing stories about the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Ben Youssef Madrassa, and the lively souks surrounding Jemaa El-Fna Square.

After lunch, you will visit the modern side of the city to enjoy a peaceful walk through the vibrant, artistic Majorelle Garden.

Depending on your departure plans, we will arrange a seamless transfer directly to the Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) or the Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) to coordinate with your flight details, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable 7-day Moroccan journey
